6 Weeks Old!

My friend Kelly told me that week-by-week, I'd start seeing little changes, and sure enough, starting around 4 weeks, it was true. Hunter's smiles before may or may not have actually been caused by something, but now his smiles are a complete reaction caused from something we do or he does or sees. Its soo cute. I was holding him the other morning and Ronnie came over to tell him good morning, and when he saw Ronnie's face, he just lit up and smiled sooo big. He also must have funny dreams now, because the first and only time I have heard him laugh was when he was sleeping. He got a HUGE smile on his face and was chuckling. It made me laugh and cry at the same time. He also LOVES bath time. He's probably the only baby who loves to take a bath. The warm water makes him go to sleep. He has a whirlpool baby tub, and he sticks his foot right where the water comes out.

He's been sleeping in his crib since he was 5 weeks, and does a pretty good job. He's still getting up every 2-3 hours to eat, so its very exhausting on me. Ronnie helps out as much as possible, but with him working, he needs his sleep too. Anyhow, here are some great pictures...

Our Little Couch Potato!

Happy 4th of July! We can't believe it, but Hunter will be 4 weeks tomorrow. He seems to have grown so much already. His eyes are still blue, but they'll be green before we know it. His hair on the other hand has changed a little. Its obviously getting longer, but its also getting a tint of red. His hair, in the sun, looks auburn. And let me tell you....this kid can fart up a storm. He literally stretches and pushes one out. Sometimes he'll add a little grunt in there to give it some help. He is slowly developing a personality and I can tell, he's going to be a really funny baby. He already smiles so much, especially when you kiss him.
